Operational Test Pilot

A retired U.S. Navy Captain with 30 years of dedicated service, Mike Smith started his military career at the U.S. Naval Academy in 1982. He devoted his career to defending our nation and leading complex, high-risk missions where planning, execution, and sound judgment are paramount. As a front-line pilot, Mike flew F-14s on multiple overseas deployments and expanded his tactical credentials flying both F-14s and FA-18s during operational tests and his role as an instructor at NAS Fallon, NV. He volunteered and was mobilized for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Following his military career, Mike continued to serve as a commercial airline pilot and Senior Tactical Systems Analyst, recruited by the Department of the Navy to solve mission-critical problems for the Pentagon's Joint Staff and NATO.

Selected as the U.S. Navy Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer for the State of Nevada (2010-2012)

Mike retired from his job as a commercial airline pilot and is currently serving as a Senior Tactical Systems Analyst for the Dept. of the Navy
